Line of Effort 1
In today’s interconnected world, information is a powerful tool for shaping perceptions and influencing outcomes. LOE 1 focuses on leveraging information to deter adversaries, highlight sovereign rights, and expose malign activities. By gaining and maintaining an information advantage, the Tri-Command ensures that its messaging is credible, coordinated, and effective across all audiences.
Through efforts like Inform to Influence, Engage, and Educate (I2E2) and multilateral cooperation with UNC’s 18 member states, this LOE amplifies the Alliance’s voice while countering misinformation and propaganda.
Line of Effort 2
The defense of Republic of Korea, the United States, and UNC member states is at the core of the Tri-Command’s mission. LOE 2 emphasizes maintaining a robust defense posture to counter North Korea’s growing missile and weapons programs while protecting critical civilian and military assets.
Integrated Air and Missile Defense systems, real-time trilateral missile warning data sharing with Japan, and advanced technologies ensure that forces remain ready to respond to any threat. This LOE also includes efforts like extended deterrence cooperation through initiatives such as the Strategic Integration Element (SIE) and bilateral Nuclear Consultative Group (NCG).
Line of Effort 3
The strength of the Tri-Command lies in its alliances and partnerships. LOE 3 focuses on strengthening relationships with allies and partners through increased collaboration, joint planning, and improved interoperability. UNC plays a vital role in coordinating contributions from its 18 member states while fostering multinational cooperation through monthly Ambassador Roundtables.
By integrating advanced technologies like AI-enabled systems and cloud-based communications, this LOE ensures seamless coordination among allies while enhancing collective defense capabilities across all domains. These efforts demonstrate unity among like-minded nations committed to upholding international norms and deterring aggression.
Line of Effort 4
Readiness begins with preparation. LOE 4 ensures that critical infrastructure is developed and maintained, forces are postured effectively, and logistics are integrated across multinational partners. Investments in modernized facilities, advanced communication networks, and joint logistics planning create a strong foundation for operations in the Korean Theater of Operations (KTO).
This LOE also emphasizes multinational logistics integration through efforts like the Joint Logistics Enterprise (JLEnt), ensuring rapid support for operations while fostering deeper collaboration among allies.
